I am a reporter for Hearst Connecticut Media Group writing about politics, the environment and general news for our statewide coverage team and network of eight daily newspapers and 14 weeklies.
Previously, I spent more than five years covering the Arkansas State Capitol in Little Rock for the Democrat-Gazette, where I wrote about everything from state executions to legislative politics and Arkansas’ first forays into the medical marijuana business. My work garnered numerous accolades, including statewide awards for political and investigative reporting. My work has also appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Miami Herald, the Charlotte Observer and the Kansas City Star, among others.
Prior to studying journalism at Temple University, I lived in southwestern Connecticut, where I helped launch my high school’s newspaper. In my free time I enjoy exploring state and national parks.
